Thank you! Even though I write fiction, I try to present my characters truthfully with real struggles that we all face. Thank you so much for reading and commenting, Rosie! I appreciate it very much!

This is a precious story and it brought tears to my eyes and tug at my heart. I agree it is important to try and look past a person’s gruffness to get to their heart. Christmas is a difficult season for me and I find it difficult to exude happiness. Then I remember the true reason for Christmas and I smile.

Thank you, Cindy. Christmas is a special time of year but can also bring with it some hard emotions too. I think these stories are helping me to heal my wrestling and conflicting emotions around this season. Wishing you peace and joy this Christmas, my dear friend.❤️

Kimberly! It’s as if you heard my prayers. I’ve been a caregiver for my uncle for the past month. While he has not been difficult, I see the pain in his eyes as we talk about the pending loneliness when I return home. His heart’s desire is to have his children with him for the holidays. I shared a portion of your story with them and I pray that it moves them. Perhaps your next story will include restoration…💕

Oh Cathy, thank you so much for sharing with me about your uncle. I obviously had no idea, but clearly God knew and I’m sincerely honored that He is using my stories to help others. I’m praying fervently that your uncle’s children listen to you and may God use my story to open their eyes and hearts for their father. I’m praying for that Christmas miracle and restoration! 🙏🏻

Definitely stay tuned. There’s two more stories to come 💕

This story was so precious. I didn't expect Peter to invite Arthur to his Christmas, but it was the sweet ending which perfectly wrapped this story. When we take time to look people in the eyes and see their pain instead of a cold exterior, we see them as Jesus does. Thank you for sharing!
